I am a color scientist investigating avian color (and color vision) evolution, especially regarding how such evolution impacts the current and future distributions of avian species. Currently, I am investigating the origin, structure, and function of avian iridescence, with the intention of applying my findings to the fields of conservation and biomimicry.
